Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the assurance team, ensuring high quality and timely delivery of assurance services.
- Lead and motivate diverse teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Handle engagement scheduling and budgeting, with a focus on optimizing profitability and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, effectively interacting with all stakeholders.
- Resolve complex accounting issues, demonstrating a strong understanding of GAAP and GAAS.
- Utilize various assurance applications and research tools to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of assurance processes.
- Monitor billings and collections, ensuring engagement profitability.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for process enhancement.
- Play a key role in client development, leveraging relationship-building skills to expand our client base and strengthen existing client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of eight years of experience in public accounting, preferably in a Big 4 or National accounting firm.
- Prior significant supervisory experience, demonstrating excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Extensive experience in auditing, with a proven track record of successfully leading and motivating diverse teams.
- Exceptional written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and interact effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience with various assurance applications and research tools.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and GAAS.
- Proven ability to resolve complex accounting issues.
- Strong people development and delegation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage engagement scheduling and budgeting.
- Proven track record in client development and relationship building.
- Commitment to ensuring engagement profitability, including billings and collections.
