Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and conducting financial audits for a diverse range of clients.
- Preparing and reviewing audit work papers and reports, ensuring they are accurate and comply with applicable standards and regulations.
- Assisting in the planning and execution of audit engagements, ensuring they are conducted efficiently and effectively.
- Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members, helping them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing them with valuable insights and advice.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. A CPA is a plus.
- 2+ years of public accounting experience
- MUST have experience working on small & local government audits (some examples include cities, municipalities, school districts, etc.)
