Audit Senior

Position Overview: A client company of ours is currently seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong audit skills, preferably with qualifications for A-133 audits. The role will primarily focus on auditing in industries such as not-for-profit, government, schools, and medical sectors and will report directly to the Audit Manager & Partner. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA license or CPA Candidate (Actively Pursuing)
• Preferably qualified for A-133 audits
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing within Public Accounting 
• Proficiency in audit management software such as PPC or CheckPoint (preferred, but not required)
• Local Travel to Engagements within Rhode Island & Massachusetts

Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits in accordance with industry standards and regulations
• Perform fieldwork and testing procedures
• Prepare audit reports and documentation
• Review financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Provide recommendations for process improvements and risk management

Location: Onsite in Kent County, RI

Salary: Competitive starting at $70k & commensurate with experience
