Rate - $42.96/hr on W2 (OT past 40 hours = $64.44/hr)
Job Description:
The position provides management oversight and direction to the Audit Program Support team analysts who support BUSA management in the creation and publication of senior level MIS packages for management of Issues and Corrective Action Plans across the enterprise. The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities, respond with grace to inquiries from many sources (often senior management), and assist the team in finding resolutions to problems and data discrepancies. Must be able to understand big & small picture then tailor the information for a variety of audiences with appropriate messaging.
The Audit Program Support Lead Role is responsible for the coordination and focus of the team. This includes:
Working with businesses and process owners to assure that the set of CAPs associated with their function is being worked and is adequately reporting status and concerns.
Provide ongoing MIS to track progress and escalate issues relative to resolution target closure; especially for focus CAPs of high sensitivity or targeted early resolution
Assuring performance cadence of reviews to add assurance, prior to submission to Internal Audit, that
- resolved items are being properly closed based on the evidence supplied by the CAP owner,
- that this evidence is sustainable (process/control is able to be executed over time)
- all closures are documented via a clear CAP closure form and package for submission to Internal Audit.
Execution and implementation of systems and procedures to support and improve IA interaction, BUSA BRM communications, and record keeping.
Establishes and maintains strong working relationships across BUSA businesses and other control groups (i.e., Internal Audit, compliance, legal, enterprise risk management, etc.); develops and provides CAP Coordinators training and guidance on preparing CAP closure memos.
Possesses strong auditing/examination skills, good knowledge of regulatory requirements, financial products, and a strong understanding of internal control systems within a financial institution.
Ability to perform deep dives, root cause, and gap analysis for highly complex issues.
Qualifications:
- Experience in audit / regulatory examination environments required.
- Banking or financial services experience a plus.
- Strong knowledge of business operational processes and regulatory requirements.
- Strong written and oral communications skills; MIS and data analytics experience required
- Strong Excel, Word, and Power Point skills needed
- Demonstrated ability to write for, and present to, all levels of management and different stakeholders.
- Compliance, Internal Controls or Internal Audit experience.
- Planning and People Management Skills.
- PMP certification or prior Program Management experience a plus
