Job Details
Responsibilities:
Audit Manager will play a critical role in our finance team with duties including but not limited to:
- Planning and managing audit assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Supervising audit staff to ensure that they adhere to company standards and regulations.
- Reviewing audit work papers and reports prepared by audit staff.
- Ensuring all audit reports are accurate, objective, clear, concise, constructive, and timely.
- Interacting with clients to identify potential risk areas and propose solutions for risk mitigation.
- Developing and maintaining productive client and team relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.
- Providing technical guidance to audit staff and acting as a mentor to less experienced staff members.
- Participating in strategic planning initiatives and contributing to the development of the audit department.
- Keeping up-to-date with changes in regulatory standards and the impact these have on audits.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit management or a similar role.
- Solid understanding of audit and regulatory standards.
- Proven experience in public accounting.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
