Our client, a public accounting firm in Norwood, MA is hiring an Audit Manager to join their growing and dynamic team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$120,000 – $170,000 plus bonus + incentive
Position Overview:
The Audit Manager cultivates strong client relationships through exceptional customer service, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and senior team members. The Audit Manager possess comprehensive knowledge of various issues including mergers and acquisitions, entrepreneurship, funding requirements, growth objectives, and exit strategies.
Responsibilities of the Audit Manager:
- Lead multiple client engagements, overseeing planning, execution, and successful completion within budget constraints
- Manage day-to-day operations of engagements, ensuring timely delivery of services
- Identify and resolve potential issues through thorough research and strategic consulting
- Provide expert guidance to clients on business and process improvement, acting as a trusted advisor
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental training programs
- Monitor budgets, assist with staff scheduling and workload distribution
- Timely preparation of client billings and support collection efforts
- Conduct formal training seminars for staff development
- Actively participate in practice development initiatives to drive cross-selling opportunities and attract new clients
- Engage in recruitment events, employee performance management, training support, and business development activities
Qualifications for the Audit Manager:

Education Requirements:
- CPA certification with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a CPA firm
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s or MBA preferred
