Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our dynamic Finance team. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong background in conducting comprehensive financial audits for the Nonprofit industry. This exciting role will provide the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals, directly contribute to our company's financial health, and drive improvements in our audit processes. This position requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in auditing and finance.

1. Plan, organize and manage internal audits according to audit plans and company policies.
2. Evaluate financial operations and processes to identify areas of risk and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
3. Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and make recommendations to improve internal controls and governance processes.
4. Manage a team of auditors and provide them with guidance and training to ensure high performance.
5. Communicate effectively with management and operational teams to improve financial processes.
6. Coordinate with external auditors and manage audits to ensure compliance with external regulations and standards.
7. Review financial reports for accuracy and completeness, and analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues.
8. Lead special audit-related projects as needed and provide expert advice on financial matters.
Job Details
Qualifications:
1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
3. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in auditing, preferably in the finance industry.
4. Proven experience in managing and directing a team.
5. In-depth understanding of auditing and control practices, as well as financial reporting.
6. Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong decision-making abilities.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively relay complex financial information.
8. Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
9. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity to manage sensitive information.
10. Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.
11. Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and developments.
