Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and execute complex audit projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
- Supervise and provide guidance to audit team members, fostering an environment that encourages professional growth and high performance.
- Evaluate and improve our internal audit processes and controls to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate those risks.
- Prepare and present detailed audit reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with GAAS and other relevant auditing standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the implementation of corrective actions and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, developments, and changes in regulations.
- Lead special audits and investigations as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Master's degree, CPA, or CISA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in external audit, public accounting, or a similar role in the finance industry.
- Proficient knowledge of GAAS, internal controls, compliance, and risk assessment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex data.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex audit findings to non-technical audiences.
- Proficient in using audit software and other related IT systems.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations.
