Job Details
Responsibilities
- Leading and managing multiple audit engagements to deliver quality audit services.
- Overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Ensuring the accurate completion and timely filing of 990 forms.
- Conducting single audits in accordance with Uniform Guidance.
- Providing insights and recommendations based on audit findings.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their business and financial needs.
- Mentoring and training junior audit staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborating with other team members to devise best practices and continual improvements in our audit approach.
- Staying updated with industry trends, changes in audit regulations, and new audit methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably in the non-profit sector.
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP, Form 990, Single Audit, and Uniform Guidance.
- Proven track record of managing multiple audit engagements.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Strong commitment to providing exceptional client service.
