About the Job

Our client is a business advisory firm and they are seeking an Audit Manager to join their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$120k – $160k plus Bonus

Position Overview:

The Audit Manager will act as an advisor and provide exclusive consulting and compliance services. They will lead multiple audits, reviews, compilations, and client engagements.

Responsibilities of the Audit Manager:

Lead client engagements
Ensure services are delivered promptly
Develop and maintain excellent client relationships
Serve as the primary client contact
Recognize and resolve problems
Recommend business and process improvement
Utilize thorough knowledge and exposure to issues which include but are not limited to mergers and acquisitions, entrepreneurship, funding requirements, growth objectives, and exit strategies
Assist in the development and execution of the department’s various training programs
Set and monitor budgets
Staff scheduling
Prepare client billings and collections
Participate in recruitment events, employee performance management, training support, and business development opportunities

Qualifications for the Audit Manager:

5+ years of progressive
CPA firm experience Lead team members
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to train, orient, and mentor staff
Ability to review and evaluate the work of others
Detail-oriented

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required, MS or MBA is preferred
CPA
