Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Manager to oversee our audit team and ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead audit engagements for various clients in different industries, including manufacturing, telecommunications, construction, employee benefit plans, non-profit, government, and healthcare.
- Supervise and develop a team of audit seniors and staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective completion of audits.
- Research and analyze financial statements, audit findings, and other data to identify areas of risk and opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations for improving their internal controls and financial reporting processes.
- Stay up-to-date with accounting principles, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and quality of audit services.
- Bachelors degree in accounting or related field; CPA certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in external audit, including experience as an audit senior.
- Experience in manufacturing, telecommunications, construction, employee benefit plans, non-profit, government, and healthcare industries preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and other accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
