Assurance Senior

Gould Killian CPA Group, P.A. has a great opportunity for a dynamic Assurance Senior.  As an Assurance Senior, you will use your experience and expertise as part of the client service team to provide assurance services to a variety of for-profit businesses, non-profit and governmental entities.

Responsibilities include:

·       Plan and perform assurance (Audit, Review and Compilation) engagements for clients.

·       Assist in the development of individual audit approaches and staff time budgets.

·       Supervise, train and mentor staff accountants.

·       Develop and maintain relationships with clients.

·       Actively communicate with audit managers and partners on the progress of work.

·       Work overtime as needed during the year.

Desired Skills and Experience:

·       CPA certification, or ability to complete soon is required.

·       3+ years recent external assurance experience.  Experience with governmental and not-for-profit entities a plus.

·       Thorough understanding of GAAP, as well as current auditing standards.

·       Strong general accounting skills.

·       Experience supervising, directing and reviewing the work of staff accountants.

·       Excellent communication skills.

·       B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting or related field.
