Job Details

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
Plans to pursue the CPA exam
Strong teamwork, communication, and analytical skills
Proficiency in MS Office applications

Responsibilities

As an Audit Associate you will work on audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting procedures within a variety of industries and companies.
You will have the opportunity to work with staff at all levels of the firm, from interns to shareholders, as you gain exposure to all aspects of conducting audits for clients
Work closely with clients to understand their business and industry, company structure, accounting procedures, and business goals
Collaborate on engagement teams, learning all aspects of conducting audit, review or compilation engagement
Assist with preparing financial statements and reports for clients
Learn how to perform tests of internal control systems and assess risks
Identify and communicate any accounting or reporting issues to managers and shareholders
