SUMMARY
The Audiovisual Technician I-III ("Tecnico de Audiovisual") efficiently and accurately delivers and sets up the appropriate audiovisual equipment for conference services and other departments in the hotel. Protects the assets of the audiovisual department and maintains equipment as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Ensures that all equipment is in optimum working condition and appearance.
- Installs the required equipment as per department standards.
- Follows all safety procedures and tapes down all cables and power cords.
- Committed to customer satisfaction by checking in with the equipment users just before the function begins to ensure that they have everything they might need.
- Return all equipment and stores it appropriately.
- Liaises with all other operating departments to guarantee quality of services rendered.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 3-12 months of relevant experience and/or training. If no educational background, at least 1 year.
- A combination of experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for either requirement.
- Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred.
- Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
- Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.
- Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
- The following position will be filled in accordance with the process set forth in California Labor Code Section 2810.8 and San Diego Municipal Code 311.0101 et. seq.
