The Audio Visual Inventory Supervisor is responsible for managing all Event Technology equipment including maintenance, organization, labeling, cross rentals and quality control.
Summary of essential job functions
- Track and monitor event technology equipment on a daily basis.
- Maintain existing equipment and road cases.
- Manage new inventory acclimation and retirement of old equipment
- Knowledge of equipment including sound reinforcement, audio consoles, video switchers, laptops, cameras, lighting fixtures, lighting consoles, truss and motors for events and functions such as: concerts, meetings & conventions, and presentations.
- Manage interactions between onsite team and equipment.
- Operate event technology equipment according to standard set by Director of Event Technology and venue.
- Protect equipment from damage or theft and report damaged equipment.
- Project a professional image, always respecting uniform and appearance based on the INSPIRE dress code guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Operate vans and box trucks to facilitate equipment transfers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years Inventory and Event Technology experience is preferred.
- 2 plus years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Must be able to work days, nights, and weekends as business needs dictate
- Must have a valid driver’s license.

- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Must be excellent at communication.
- Teamwork oriented and able to work independently.
- Ability to respond appropriately to changing priorities and to anticipate and accommodate event technology needs, as required.
