Sr Audio Visual Analyst overview
In addition to daily work of supporting AV equipment/projects which would include Conference Rooms/Phones and other AV Equipment, this individual would assist in producing and delivering cinematic video content, ensuring compliance to corporate standards, overall adherence to budget and process guidelines, and the continual improvement of team capabilities. These individuals would assist in event planning and coordination of equipment, sound mixing and compression output and distribution of a wide range of products, and performs other related duties as assigned.

Senior Audio Visual Analyst duties
- Provides technical leadership to the video-conferencing space and creates technology roadmaps.
- Researches trends and makes recommendations for software and equipment purchases.
- Leads projects to upgrade video-conferencing and live streaming capabilities.
- Works in collaboration with internal customers and vendors as well as cross-function teams to produce a variety of video products for broadcasting, compression output, webcasting, video streaming, and digital distribution
- Ability to operate small multi-camera configuration and portable live studio setups; operates video switching, character generation and digital video effects equipment, edit controllers, cameras, hard disk video recorders, and audio mixers; sets up and adjusts studio lighting.
- Communicates technical information in non-technical terms; conducts field-based video production which involves interacting with clients and operating all portable video and audio equipment.
- Plans and performs video post-production tasks which includes reviewing footage, making editorial decisions, video transcoding, rough cuts, audio adjustment, color correction, and final editing using Vegas Pro.
- Utilizes computer graphics and special effects for video post-production in accordance with the overall production concepts; compresses video projects for output; captures recorded video using software and encode media as appropriate.
- Develop relationships with vendors
- Work closely with Sales and Technical vendors (Polycom,Cisco, Microsoft, Crestron and other A/V related vendors)
- Experience with producing live and on-demand video events.
- Ability to edit and produce quality video of company meetings for internal use.
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Must demonstrate ability to interact with other Hershey technical teams, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, plan for dependencies and deliver quality audio/video experiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience with audio visual technology.
- Knowledge of audio and video equipment (Cisco, Polycom, Crestron, ClearOne, Shure, Barco).
