Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our compassionate personal injury law firm. In this role, you will focus on litigation for personal injury, sexual assault, and medical malpractice cases on behalf of plaintiffs. You’ll have the flexibility to work remotely if you prefer or work this in a hybrid format, with occasional in-office visits for mentoring and collaboration. Key Responsibilities:

• Litigation Focus: Perform traditional Associate Attorney duties with a focus on personal injury, sexual assault, and medical malpractice litigation.
• Case Development: Support ongoing cases and bring in new cases as you progress in your role.
• Documentation: Draft legal documents and take depositions; training available for effective depositions.
• Time Tracking: Monitor your hours on projects to qualify for discretionary bonuses and identify training opportunities.
• End-to-End Case Management: Ultimately manage cases from start to finish, including case development, filing lawsuits, discovery, depositions, trial scheduling, and trial.

Requirements:

• Experience: 1-5 years as an Associate Attorney or similar role; experience in personal injury, sexual assault, or medical malpractice preferred.
• Courtroom Comfort: Comfortable in a courtroom setting; first or second chair experience is not necessary.
• Certifications: Must be a member of the Florida Bar.
• Team Player: A self-starter who values collaboration and supports team goals.

Pay Summary: Salary: $80,000 to $100,000, negotiable based on experience, plus multiple bonus opportunities for case contributions.
