Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., a national multi-office firm is seeking attorneys with experience in area of Personal Injury Protection, (PIP) defense for our Tampa, FL office. Candidate should have 2+ years of experience defending PIP insurance defense cases, experience conducting investigations, taking and defending depositions and managing motion practice and the ability to manage a team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in all phases of litigation including creating defense strategy, client communication and reporting, conducting investigations, taking and defending depositions, managing motion practice and trial.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drafting and performing legal review and analysis and advising on issues.
- Conducting legal research on PIP issues and preparing complex dispositive motions involving PIP.
- Timely preparation of discovery to opposing parties, and responding to discovery by opposing parties.
- Meeting requirements for designated minimum billable time.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of experience in civil litigation. (minimum of 6 months of experience handling PIP defense matters)
- Must be admitted to practice law and in good standing with the Florida Bar
- Excellent writing, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and research skills as well as attention to detail
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Adobe, Outlook, Excel, Westlaw and time-billing software.
- Must be able to work independently and produce an accurate and high-quality work product.
