Job Summary
Take ownership of a client's case – discovery, pleadings, motions, experts, depositions, mediation, pretrial hearings, motion hearings, and trials.
Conduct consultations, client meetings, and recommend strategies.
Delegate work to paralegals and legal assistants and monitor their work.
This role will be a hybrid-remote position following the 90-day onboarding period.
The Essentials
- Contribute to developing the strategy of a case and know where to find the rules of procedure and case law to back up that case strategy.
- Find your way around the courtroom and project confidence and competence when dealing with people on behalf of our clients.
- Know how to read financial statements, understand equitable distribution, and able to put together a custody access plan.
- Help clients understand whether they really want to spend $500 to fight with their ex over a $50 lamp.

Qualifications:
JD Law Degree from an accredited university.
5+ years of Family Law Experience.
Litigation experience is a must.
Strong Legal Research and writing skills.
