This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with 3-10 years of experience who specialize in defending medical malpractice and assisted living/long-term care. Responsibilities:

At QPWB, our Medical Malpractice Group is composed of seasoned attorneys dedicated to assisting a diverse range of clients, including employers, carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insureds, in the defense of medical malpractice and assisted living/long-term care. From initial claims handling through mediation, arbitration, trial, and appeal, we provide comprehensive legal representation tailored to the unique needs of each client. As an Attorney specializing in medical malpractice and assisted living/long-term care, your role will involve:
- Reviewing and preparing summaries of medical records to effectively advocate for clients.
- Drafting motions and attending hearings to represent clients in court.
- Preparing clients for depositions and attending depositions as needed.
- Drafting initial reports, interim reports, pre-trial reports, trials, and appellate activity.
- Responding to discovery requests and drafting discovery-related motions.
- Regularly attending court appearances to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
- Taking and defending depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses.
