Key Responsibilities

• Litigation Leadership: Defend claims involving elder abuse, neglect, and malpractice in assisted living and memory care facilities.
• Strategic Development: Design and implement litigation strategies to mitigate risk and align with organizational goals.
• External Counsel Oversight: Manage external counsel while representing the company in legal proceedings.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to healthcare and real estate regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
• Legal Advising: Provide strategic legal advice to senior leadership on complex healthcare and operational issues.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with internal departments to address legal concerns proactively.
• Reporting: Present litigation updates, trends, and risks to the President and Chairman.

Candidate Profile

• Education & Licensing: J.D. degree with active California Bar membership.
• Experience in elder care or medical malpractice litigation.
• Proficiency in legal research, writing, and courtroom advocacy.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking with problem-solving expertise.
• Professionalism: Polished communication and interpersonal skills with a business-focused mindset.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $160,000 - $220,000, based on experience.
