Our prestigious law firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to specialize in Transactional law.
This role will provide an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of transactional matters, including contracts, HOA, real estate, land use, and civil litigation. The candidate will work closely with our seasoned team of attorneys and partners to provide legal advice and services to our diverse client base.
Responsibilities:
1. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of transactional documents including but not limited to, contracts, HOA documents, real estate contracts, and land use agreements.
2. Provide legal advice on a broad range of transactional matters to ensure that our clients' interests are protected.
3. Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including the preparation of pleadings, discovery, and trial.
4. Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and provide accurate legal advice to clients.
5. Participate in client meetings and negotiations, ensuring that all transactional matters are handled professionally and efficiently.
6. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff within the firm to ensure a high level of client service and satisfaction.
7. Stay updated with changes in transactional law, including HOA, real estate, and land use regulations.
8. Contribute to the firm's business development efforts, including networking and building relationships with potential clients.
Qualifications:
1. J.D. from an accredited law school and a member in good standing with the Oregon state bar.
2. Minimum of 1 year of law firm experience with a focus on transactional matters, including contracts, HOA, real estate, land use, and civil litigation.
3. Exceptional drafting skills with an attention to detail and an ability to produce clear and concise legal documents.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide practical and strategic legal advice.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, attorneys, and staff at all levels.
6. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
7. Proven track record of representing clients in civil litigation cases.
8. Commitment to maintaining the highest level of professional ethics and standards.
9. Ability to work independently, but also collaboratively as part of a team.
