Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of litigation, including case development, trial preparation, court appearances, and post-trial activities.
2. Advocate for clients in pre-suit negotiations, depositions, mediation, and hearings.
3. Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and to stay ahead of legal trends and changes.
4. Draft and review legal documents, motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
5. Represent clients in insurance claims related to personal injury and property insurance law.
6. Provide expert advice and guidance to clients, ensuring that they understand all aspects of their case and the legal process.
7. Maintain professional competence through continuing legal education and staying updated with bar administration.
8. Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active member in good standing with the state bar.
3. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on litigation, personal injury law, and property insurance law.
4. Proven experience in representing clients in court and in pre-suit negotiations.
5. Exceptional skills in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and developing case strategies.
6. Strong advocacy skills, with a proven track record of achieving positive outcomes for clients.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet tight deadlines.
9. High level of professionalism and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
10. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
