We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled Permanent Attorney to join our prestigious Legal team. This position is ideal for individuals who are driven, ambitious, and ready to take on challenging cases in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a diverse portfolio of cases, primarily focusing on auto accident, general liability defense litigation, and insurance defense. As a Permanent Attorney, you will be expected to provide expert legal advice, represent our clients in court, and ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients. Litigation. Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and mediations related to Auto Accident and General Liability Defense Litigation cases.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, and other parties involved in the litigation process to provide updates on case progress and negotiate settlement agreements.
- Attend hearings and trials to present arguments and evidence on behalf of clients.
- Manage a caseload of multiple cases and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff members to provide the highest level of legal representation to clients.
Job Details
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with at least 2 years of experience in the legal field.
- Proven experience as an associate attorney, with a focus on auto accident, general liability defense litigation, and insurance defense.
- Proficiency in managing first-party claims and disputes.
- Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, judges, and opposing counsel.
- Exceptional research skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, manage large workloads, and remain calm under pressure.
- Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and discretion.
- Strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
- Proven track record of courtroom success.
