We are looking for an Attorney responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
- Review title search and Commitment and confirm that all requirements and exceptions are correct and applicable.
- Review any Deeds, affidavits, or documents required for the transaction to make sure they are complete and accurate.
- Coordinate with the Escrow Officer on any revisions needed to commitment, affidavits, and documents, and approve final versions being used for settlement.
- Make any necessary corrections to Deeds or other documents correctly in the production software.
- Files are prioritized first in, first out. A rush order, depending on the circumstance, may disrupt the prioritization, but upon completion of the rush order, the Attorney will return to FIFO.
- Review and approve any documentation required and obtained from the parties to the transaction (trusts, entity formation documents, surveys, deeds prepared outside of the company, etc.)
- Completion of an accredited law school with a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree is required.
- Hold a current law license in the state and be a member of your local bar association.
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills.
- Admitted as a notary public.
