We are a small firm in New York that serves all five boroughs of New Work City, Westchester and areas of Long Island. We have been in business over 30 years and primarily focus on personal injury and workers compensation law. The Law Offices of Neil Moldovan, P.C. is a personal injury and Workers’ Compensation law firm. We are expanding our team looking to at an Associate Attorney with strong interest in Personal Injury areas of law.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, present evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in criminal or civil litigation.
2. Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for clients and advise them about their legal rights and obligations.
3. Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
4. Conduct research and analysis of legal problems to develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
5. Gather evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case.
6. Negotiate settlements of civil disputes involving personal injury, workers' compensation, and wrongful death cases.
7. Manage all phases of the litigation process from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
8. Maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality as a representative of our legal team.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 4+ years of experience as a practicing attorney with a strong focus on personal injury or workers' compensation and wrongful death cases.
3. Current license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
4. Proven track record of success, including a high win rate and significant settlement amounts.
5. Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to resolve cases favorably.
6. Strong research and report writing skills.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, witnesses, colleagues, and court personnel.
