Key Responsibilities:

1. Investigate, develop, and enforce legal and regulatory issues for large-scale industrial, electric utility, residential, and commercial projects
2. Conduct factual investigations and legal research
3. Develop cases and review records
4. Collaborate with scientists on complex environmental matters
5. Perform legal analysis and writing
6. Engage in oral advocacy, motion practice, and brief writing

Requirements:

1. JD from an ABA-accredited law school
2. Active membership in good standing with the California Bar
3. 3+ years of relevant experience in environmental and land use law
4. Excellent research and writing skills
5. Strong desire to advocate for sustainable development and public service
6. Ability to work collegially and contribute to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work culture
