Job Details
As a Permanent Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Representing the company in court proceedings, presenting evidence and arguments in a compelling and persuasive manner.
2. Preparing and drafting legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, pleadings, and other legal correspondence.
3. Conducting legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and provide legal advice to the company.
4. Negotiating settlements in accordance with the company's best interests.
5. Collaborating with a team of legal professionals to manage and resolve complex legal issues.
6. Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
7. Providing proactive legal advice on a variety of matters, including strategic decisions, regulatory issues, and risk management.
8. Maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
9. Keeping abreast of legislative changes that may affect the company and its operations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a strong background in litigation.
3. Admission to the state bar.
4. Exceptional negotiation, research, and communication skills.
5. Proven ability to manage multiple cases and projects, with a keen attention to detail.
6. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical and strategic legal solutions.
8. High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
9. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with people at all levels of the organization.
10. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
