We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and passionate Attorney to join our esteemed legal team. This role will primarily focus on civil litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice, and defense. The ideal candidate will have a background in dealing with cases related to nursing home, hospice, home health, and assisted living. You will also have the opportunity to work on cases related to the "emergency department". This is an exceptional opportunity to join a supportive team environment while handling a diverse caseload.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide legal representation to clients, presenting facts in a clear and concise manner.
2. Conduct thorough legal research to support cases and present findings in a well-structured manner.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
4. Represent clients in court, arguing cases effectively and persuasively.
5. Advise clients on their legal rights, discussing possible outcomes of their cases.
6. Develop legal strategies for cases, taking into consideration the specific circumstances and legal precedents.
7. Handle cases related to medical malpractice, personal injury, civil litigation, and defense.
8. Work on cases related to nursing home, hospice, home health, and assisted living.
9. Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times, adhering to high ethical standards and professionalism.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Minimum of 1 years of experience as an Associate Attorney.
3. Proven experience in medical malpractice, nursing home, hospice, home health, assisted living, and emergency department defense or litigation.
4. Solid understanding of civil litigation and personal injury law.
5. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to interpret and draft legal documents.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle complex legal issues.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. High ethical standards and professionalism.
10. Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
