Idaho National Laboratory is hiring an ATR Work Week Manager to work in our Online Planning and Execution department. Our team works a 4x10 schedule located out of our Advanced Test Reactor (ATR) facility with every Friday off.
You will manage production control work execution at the Advanced Test Reactor, based on company procedures and management direction. You will report directly to the Online Planning and Execution Department Manager.
Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate with both internal and external customers and other support organizations to facilitate workflow and ensure optimization of facilities, resources, and equipment to ensure effective and accurate execution of the weekly work schedule.
- Chair Daily Schedule and Work Management Weekly meetings to establish and coordinate execution schedules. Based on work completion, newly identified critical work needs, and resource conflicts, provide daily reallocation of resources, equipment, and work, to enable successful completion of work. Facilitate a work environment that can identify, discuss, and implement solutions to work execution problems.
- Provide leadership in monitoring the status of work in progress and identify problems and develop corrective actions. Support development and analysis of performance indicators and measures to optimize facility and equipment use and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with Project Managers on identification of conflicts and status of the PM's project, feedback on production control performance, and lessons learned for future project considerations. Follow all aspects of work preparation to support the rolling schedule.
- Coordinate with the assigned Work Week Manager (WWM) and department coordinators to verify work execution readiness for all weeks.
- Provide leadership and foster a “teamwork” environment with all ATR Complex work groups. Facilitate solution to work execution issues.
- Maintain work order status in the scheduling software.
- Maintain database of identified work so that Planners and Engineers can review identified work on the planning and scheduling process.
- Provide input for monthly metrics. Review data for trends that need attention on any assigned organization special projects.
- Develop and issue a Plan of the Week (POW) or Plan of the Day (POD) schedule.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience with facility operation, maintenance, engineering, or scheduling, or an advanced degree and 3 years of experience, or 11 years of combined education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
Job Information:
- The pay range for this position is: Level 3 ($75,804 - $155,496) / Level 4 ($91,008 - $186,588). At Idaho National Laboratory, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.

- TDP: This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.
