We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to join our dynamic firm. As an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for leading and executing complex financial audits, providing insightful recommendations to improve financial processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate must have a CPA certification and a strong background in accounting and auditing.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute complex financial audits of various clients across different industries
- Identify and assess financial risks, and develop effective audit strategies to mitigate them
- Conduct detailed testing of financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insightful recommendations to improve financial processes and controls
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and senior management in a clear and concise manner
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry trends, and apply them to audit engagements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA Eligible or already Certified
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in audit and accounting: Preferably on Employee Benefit Plans, NFP, or Manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements
- Experience in leading and executing complex financial audits
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
