About the Job
Major/Essential Functions
- Teach students in the Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management (BSHM) program.
- Teach students in the Master of Science of Healthcare Administration (MSHA) as required.
- Assist the Chair and Program Directors in the development of innovative programs in health management and leadership.
- Involvement in student learning through teaching and institutional research.
- Advise students regarding program requirements and degree plans of study.
- Provide program management support regarding instructional design and compliance.
- Assist Program Directors as requested by serving as lead faculty on courses aligning with faculty expertise.
- Assist with onboarding new adjunct faculty and sustainment training with respect to courses serving as lead.
- Assist in establishing national-level recognition regarding health-related programs.
- Service to the profession and the wider academic community.
- Service to the department, campus, and university-wide committees.
- Participation in professional development to maintain expertise in teaching topics.

Preferred Qualifications
- Preference will be given to candidates with the following academic and/or research backgrounds: Health Informatics, Data Analytics, Decision Sciences, Applied Statistics, Population Health, Health Systems Engineering, or Quality and Patient Safety, Strategic Planning, Marketing, or Organizational Behavior.
- Experience with applied statistics in the context of process improvement, policy development, risk analysis, or population health.
- Experience teaching undergraduate or graduate courses in online delivery models.
- Experience with course and program development at the bachelor's and/or master's degree level.
- Knowledge of or experience with higher education accreditation.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems.
- A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- A Project Management Professional certification.
