Asst. Controller-Onsite-Doral at SNI Financial

This role is ideal for a motivated professional looking to grow within the organization and play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy, optimizing performance, and driving sustainable growth. Reporting to the CFO & Financial Controller will develop and produce routine summary financial reports required to monitor the financial health of the operations and the company.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of general ledger accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Conduct regular general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.
• Lead the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors as necessary.
• Utilize system for efficient financial management and reporting.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive business decisions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations that may impact the organization.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in field.
• Experience using financial aviation systems
• Proficiency in general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and compliance standards.
• Solid financial acumen with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across teams.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
