We are in search of an exceptional Associate VP - Water/Wastewater Ohio Lead to join our dynamic team in the Engineering industry. This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead our Water/Wastewater division in Ohio. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, water resources, and wastewater management, along with proven leadership abilities. The Associate VP will be responsible for managing and overseeing all water/wastewater projects in Ohio, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the design, planning, and implementation of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to a team of engineers and project managers.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project objectives and timelines are met.
- Review and approve project designs and deliverables, ensuring they are in line with company standards and client requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal development and client meetings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory standards related to water and wastewater engineering.
- Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and excellence within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an asset.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum 15 years working as a Water Resources Engineer and Project Manager with at least (5) years of experience as a Department Lead/Manager for projects related to water, stormwater and wastewater system studies, water quality analyses, stormwater and sanitary sewer design, pump station design, water system design and wastewater system design.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing successful teams and projects.
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, design standards, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and teams.
