We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Associate VP - Architecture to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the architectural landscape of our projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the architectural aspects of construction projects from concept to completion. This role is ideal for a registered architect with a passion for design and a deep understanding of the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design process, from conceptual design through overall completion of projects.
- Engage in the development of architecture projects and review architectural designs to ensure they meet company standards and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, and other team members to ensure the architectural vision is realized and implemented effectively.
- Use software such as Revit and AutoCAD to create detailed architectural designs.
- Conduct site visits to monitor the progress of projects and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Participate in client presentations and project meetings, providing expert architectural input and advice.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the field of architecture and construction.
- Provide mentorship to junior architects and designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Oversee the preparation of architectural project specifications.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Must be a registered architect.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the architectural field, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proven experience with K-12 architecture and healthcare architecture.
- Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other architecture design software.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building systems, and regulations.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey architectural concepts and designs to clients and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and mentor a team.
- Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and design.
- Must be a creative thinker, with a passion for innovative design and a keen understanding of architectural trends.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to overcome design and construction challenges.
- Ability to travel as needed for project site visits and client meetings.
