About the Job
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate veterinarian to lead and maintain a high-performing medical team through trust, teamwork, and accountability. This role partners with the Hospital Manager and reports directly to the Regional Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient exams and diagnostics.
- Communicate findings and treatment plans to pet owners clearly and empathetically.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures, surgeries, and post-op care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with AAHA standards.
- Prescribe medications and oversee pharmacy compliance, including controlled substances.
- Foster teamwork, mentor staff, and support efficient hospital operations.
- Contribute to financial success through accurate client invoicing and resource management.
Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Current state veterinary license and DEA registration.
- 5+ years of veterinary practice experience with proven leadership.
- Strong commitment to continuing education and staff development.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $130,000 - $150,000 USD.
- Comprehensive benefits: health insurance, 401(k), PTO, CE allowance, and license reimbursement.
