Our client is seeking an Associate Treasury Specialist/ Treasury Accounting Associate II to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring experience in banking or treasury operations, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining compliance and operational excellence.
This is a full-time position with no relocation assistance or visa sponsorship eligibility available.
Overview
The Associate Treasury Specialist will support daily treasury operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across financial transactions. This role involves working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to execute transactions, maintain compliance with regulations, and contribute to process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with various treasury-related tasks, utilizing knowledge of banking and treasury practices.
Execute approved disbursements, including wire transfers and ACH transactions, between company accounts and clients.
Process treasury requests such as stop payments, positive pay exception processing, and other related activities.
Perform research to resolve inquiries or gather information related to treasury operations from internal and external partners.
Maintain accurate records and documentation to demonstrate compliance with audit and regulatory policies.
Follow corporate policies and procedures, including SOX compliance, to ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards.
Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies related to treasury operations.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, streamline workflows, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
Assist in training and mentoring junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.
Prepare and maintain documentation related to treasury compliance activities, including policies, procedures, and controls.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage workflow in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in banking or treasury (1–5 years preferred).
