About the Job

Our Washtenaw Client is in need of an Interim Tax Manager. The Interim Tax Manager will be responsible for reviewing client tax forms completed by the tax preparation team for various clients, including corporations, partnerships, trusts and individual returns. In addition, the Interim Tax Manager will be responsible for onboarding new clients and requesting the appropriate forms and documentation. The Interim Tax Manager will also be responsible for managing the tax preparation team, including training and development.

The ideal Interim Tax Manager must have 5+ years preparing federal and state individual tax forms. In addition, the ideal candidate must have at least three years experience preparing corporate, partnership and trust forms. The ideal candidate must also have at least two years supervisory experience. Experience using a corporate tax software, such as Drake or UltraTax is required, as well as intermediate Excel capabilities, including pivot tables and v/xlookups. A bachelors degree with an Enrolled Agent or CPA is also required. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate.
