Who We Are:
Chemical engineering department designs, develops and operates new chemical, petroleum and sustainability technologies for industry.
Objectives of this Role:
- Support project managers by developing and tracking tasks and resource loadings.
- Maintain budget tracking for projects.
- Track and maintain our client resource management system.
- Develop tools for project managers to increase efficiency in operations.
- Develop and maintain tools for department inventories, safety, data reporting, and quality systems.
- Reach out to task resources and maintain/update project schedules and budgets to reflect up to date information.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Check in with project team members and update MS project file.
- Work with PMs on submitting SwRI forms.
- Maintain consistency across the department with regard to budget tracking, reporting, and project management by administering all projects.
- Update budget tracking, and maintain constant contact with task personnel to keep the project files updated and reporting.
- Summarize and report project status/budget reports for the department, work on forecasting, and CRM (future budgets).
- Develop new tools and utilize software to assist with efficiency and reporting on project, budget, schedules.
Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelors degree in Business or related degree field with relevant experience.
- 1+ years: Experience with MS project.
- 1+ years: Project reporting, budget tracking, document organization
- 1+ years: Working with teams and/or customer service.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
Special Requirements:
Must be a U.S. person (i.e., U.S. citizen, non-U.S. citizen national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) due to ITAR work in section.
