Objectives of this Role:
- Support the success of internal inclusion activities and external out events.
- Coordinate key requirements in planning and executing on campus celebrations.
- Collaborate with other key areas to support various initiatives.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Program Manager to plan, organize, and execute monthly celebrations.
- Draft communications for program announcements, celebrations, and special events.
- Maintain rosters and administratively support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
- Support the annual SwRI-United Way campaign
- Stay apprised of best practices and recommended strategies for continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and improvements to the overall program.
Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelors degree in DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), Human Resources, Communications or related degree fields.
- 1-3 years: Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of developing and executing engagement or inclusion activities.
- 1-3 years: Interpersonal skills with the ability to comfortably communicate and partner effectively with diverse populations.
- Oral and written communication skills needed for creating presentations and drafting communications utilizing Microsoft Office products.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
