Associate, Software Engineering w/ The Ayco Company, L.P., A Goldman Sachs Company in Irving, Texas. Develop, enhance, support, and maintain the Firm’s software solutions in support of its global businesses. Design and implement high-quality, scalable, and thoughtful technology solutions leveraging both internal and open-source services. Requires: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in job offered or a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or a related role. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master’s degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with: Full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support; Building multi-threaded and multi-process service-oriented C++ or Java enterprise applications within Unix environment; Programming technologies including Java, Spring, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, or Kafka; Relational database management system (RDBMS) such as Sybase or Oracle; Micro-services architecture design and development including REST, Java, Spring, or other back-end technologies; Database query languages, including SQL or NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB.
