We are seeking an Associate Software Engineer in Test to develop and execute functional and automated tests to ensure product quality. The Associate Software Engineer in Test role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective. If you hold an engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems, we’d like to meet you.
What you’ll be doing...
- Reviews and validates requirements and technical specifications
- Designs, develops and executes test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer feedback and prioritization
- Documents results; offer observations or improvements after analysis of test results and overall product quality
- Collaborates with the development team on bug fix verification and validation (regression testing)
- Communicates professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization
- Supports, designs, develops, and enhances test processes and reporting for QA processes
- Manages testing efforts across many varied projects and tasks under tight deadlines
- Analyze, design and build automated test cases based on system requirements and design specification
- Defining and executing system integration tests of connected products across supported platforms to ensure end to end quality of product
- Diagnoses and resolves problems from the production sites
- Coordinates with offshore test teams
What you’ll bring to us…
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience with automated and manual testing
- 2+ years of experience working with the Agile/Scrum methodology
- 2+ years of experience with Rest APIs testing
