Key Responsibilities
Essential Qualifications
Master degree in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology or related field
Proficient in molecular cloning
Have experience working with various mammalian cell lines
Experience in CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing
Experience in Molecular techniques e.g. PCR (design primers/probe, optimize condition), western blot, ELISA etc
Willing to relocate to Rochester
Valued Complementary Skills:
Flow cytometry, fluorescent microscopy, suspension cell culture, lentivirus generation, SDS-PAGE and western blot, viral titering by TCID50, cell-based assays, ELISA, affinity chromatography, complement assays, Prism software.

Job Details
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute in vitro virology experiments under minimal supervision.
- Independently design and clone viral vectors.
- Generate engineered cell lines by designing and executing genetic editing strategies in mammalian cell lines via lentiviral vectors, CRISPR, or other novel editing platforms.
- Collaborate with other team members to advance cross-functional scientific projects and standardize adoption of new scientific techniques.
- Experience in Molecular techniques e.g. PCR (design primers/probe, optimize condition), western blot, ELISA etc
