We are hiring an Associate Regional Sales Manager for our Food Service team to be home-office based in the Southeast area of Florida. In this role you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating sales activities as well as for developing customer relationships for the assigned region. You will have responsibility for managing assigned Distributors and Accounts in executing assigned AOP growth targets and new product distribution and overall sales execution. You will focus on a portion of an overall larger region and report into the Zone Manager.
Responsibilities:
+ Plan and execute a “Go to Market” strategy to deliver growth in market, results measured in salesforce.com.
+ Lead and execute assigned customer events (distributor & operator).
+ Support zone/company events as needed out of market.
+ Manage the various aspects of the regional business by directing the activities of distributors to achieve annual sales goals and business objectives.
+ Demonstrate quality and advantage of Schwan's products to clients to gain sales and establish accounts.
+ Analyze sales statistics to determine sales potential, inventory requirements and customer preferences.
+ Quote prices and credit terms, prepare sales contracts, plan and prepare sales presentations and promotional events and/or materials.
+ Assist zone sales manager with Area K12 Bid and Commodity results.
+ Monitor and analyze sales promotion results to determine cost effectiveness of promotion campaigns.
+ Manage regional sales activities and information by preparing reports of business transactions, keeping expense accounts, updating new customer data and ensuring all assigned accounts are up-to date.
+ Confer with clients to provide marketing advice, technical advice and customer service concerning product(s) or services provided.
+ Develop and maintain working relationships with purchasing contacts and investigate and resolve customer delivery problems as necessary.
+ Serve as primary contact with all key customers and represent the company at trade shows and association meetings to promote products and services
+ Assist Zone Sales Manager with recruiting, developing, retaining results-oriented Zone Sales Team
+ Travel required within stated geography, to include the Miami/Southeast Florida/Southwest Florida and surrounding areas. Additional travel to support teammates, when necessary, in other parts of the State of Florida will also be needed from time to time, as well as additional annual travel outside of the state for any other national or company events that take place.
Qualifications:
+ 5+ years’ experience in a sales role.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree with 5+ years sales experience working across multiple Food Service channels both commercial & non-commercial, and K12 operators.
