Work Location: Windsor, CT. (Base) / East Hartford, CT Customer Site (Daily work location)
Work Experience: Minimum 5+ years relevant to role and 2-year tech degree / 10+ years relevant to role with no / non-tech degree.  Candidates with substantially more prior experience and responsibilities, may fit under a related progression roles - and are welcome to apply.
Industry: Aero-Engine (i.e.  gas turbine / turbomachinery)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Primarily gather, compile, process, and portray Quality Engineering (technical) data that helps ensure part/process quality are achieved and sustained.  Efforts support/conveyed to others.
• Initial planned work: Variety of quality/project support level activities aimed at team charged with ensuring those conducting acoustical test services (sonic inspection) for our customer are doing so as needed and at capacity required.  Follow-on work to be within scope of this JD.    
• Comfortable interacting w/ multiple computer systems / software  
• Have an aptitude for process-oriented work along with a mindset for doing things right, a desire to see things through, an eye for continuous improvement.  A history of doing so successfully in a customer facing, service-oriented, environment
• Collaboratively engage daily with your Project / Team leader, Peers
• Maintain Integrity & Ethics in all situations
• Generate Continuous Improvement ideas to reduce Waste and Cost of Poor Quality
• Help Quest Global grow while you learn and develop your career

• Relevant experience in:  Quality Management System, Part Qualification, Non-Conformance Management, and/or Continuous Improvement (Development).
• Read Engineering prints and comprehend associated Quality Requirements (Inc GD&T callouts)
• Gaging experience (manual, visual, computer based, Inspection Planning, Set-up, SPC, Gage R&R)
• Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook – intermediate/adv user (macros, pivot tables, VB coding - noteworthy)
• Entering, probing, and extracting technical data within a MRP / ERP system (SAP preferred)
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and organized - with ability to focus on semi-repetitive tasks

• Familiarity with gas turbine engine workings, design, manufacturing, MRO
• Operating in procedure based and regulatory controlled environments

• Office and/or Shop Floor Environments
• Lift / Transport 25 lb (occasional)
• Common activities include sitting, walking, and standing
• Typically includes substantial amounts of computer work – but can also include hands-on activities (e.g. lifting, inspecting, transporting, etc)
• Heavily Regulated Industry with strict adherence to procedures and standard work
• Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late, arriving early, OT
• Ability to use personal transportation (work, customer, other)
