Maximus is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our Enterprise Technology Project Management Team (EPMO). The Associate Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned technology projects. In this role, you will be responsible for the creation, documentation and maintenance of EPMO artifacts and processes. Your expertise in document management will ensure that our EPMO operates efficiently and effectively, maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned technology projects. Interface between technical teams, upstream project managers, and business stakeholders.
- Manage the planning, budgeting, schedule, delivery, and quality of technical projects in support of corporate transformation initiatives, day-to-day business operations, and external clients and partners.
- Develop and maintain project plans, meeting agendas/minutes, status reports, and financial tracking. Ensure that all services are delivered according to project requirements.
- Gather data and prepare reports to support the administration of projects. Develop presentation materials.
- Create and maintain project documentation to drive effective stakeholder communications, training, and quality reviews.
- Collaborate with other project managers on inter-dependent projects. Communicate effectively with program managers responsible for delivering the overall enterprise strategy to the organization.
- Interface with IT engineering resources, IT management, and other line-of-business owners to ensure speed of delivery, transparency of project work, and consistent stakeholder participation.
- Document and support after hours maintenance events and related production changes in support of project implementations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather and update documentation requirements.
- Create, document, and maintain EPMO artifacts, policies, and processes including but not limited to job aids and onboarding materials.
- Ensure EPMO documentation is complete, accurate, and work with Knowledge Management to store appropriately.
- Collaborate with Knowledge Management to develop and maintain a centralized repository for EPMO documents.
- Work with Project Managers and EPMO Directors to develop processes and ensure accurate documentation is maintained.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with EPMO documentation standards and guidelines.
- Facilitate the review and approval process for EPMO documents.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather and update documentation requirements.
- Conduct regular audits of EPMO documents to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Assist in the development and delivery of EPMO training materials related to documentation, governance and standardization.
- Provide support for EPMO documentation activities as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience considered in lieu of degree.
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience required.
- Experience creating, documenting and maintaining policies and processes.
- Document management experience is required.
- Must have auditing experience.
- Strong written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Project Management experience or familiarity with PMO processes.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
