About this opportunity
We are looking for an Associate Project Manager in our Raleigh, NC, location to support and lead projects for the Americas region. You will work with all areas and levels of the company to ensure that all project requirements are on track. Responsibilities include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective communication plans.
For this position, we expect you to be a confident leader ready to jump in and drive activities to achieve our business goals. You should be methodical and have excellent time management skills.
In this role, you will…
- Support Sr. Project Managers in driving large, complex projects.
- Oversee other projects with minimal supervision as assigned.
- Ensure project teams understand the objectives of the project(s) and support the team towards successful project delivery.
- Keep the project teams organized and on track for effective implementation and delivery.
- Ensure project meetings are on topic, productive, and documented.
- Meet with diverse project team members to identify and resolve issues and identify and manage risks.
- Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution.
- Communicate frequently with project teams, peers, and management, sharing information about potential project risks and issues.
- Share critical information via status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
- Collaborate and connect with customers to ensure acceptance of project deliverables.
- Understand customer needs and manage customer satisfaction within the project transition period.
- Evaluate the project and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements after the project concludes.
- Perform other duties as assigned from time to time
In this role, you’ll need …
- 2+ years of experience
- A bachelor's degree is preferred
- To be comfortable working with all areas and levels of the organization
- To be organized and able to juggle multiple tasks without sacrificing quality
- Solid communication skills, including written, verbal, and visual (e.g., PowerPoint)
- Curiosity. You want to understand how things work and are comfortable asking questions
- A positive approach: building positive working relationships by being a reliable partner
