About the Job
Under direct supervision, assist Project Management in the oversight of capital projects. Assists Engineers and Architects in the collection and treatment of data. Prepares reports that monitors the progress of capital projects. Conduct trips to a field for survey and monitoring of projects. Provide computer assisted drafting and design services. Reviews contract drawings and specification prepares daily report, RFI and submittals logs. Assists Project Manager with various paperwork requires in the field. Coordinates with Contractors and Depot Management on various projects. Ensure and enforce adherence to Quality Assurance and Safety protocols. Also assist in coordinating formal responses from the design team. The candidate will also perform other duties and provide support for a variety of administrative or project related procedures as required or assigned by management
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in engineering, architecture, and one year of full-time satisfactory experience in project management work, such as planning, administering, managing, coordinating or expediting, for engineering projects; or A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and five years of experience.
A New York State Registered Architect License and valid NYS Driver's License are preferred
The consultant shall provide certification of the 30-hour OSHA training from an authorized provider accepted by NYCT and submit a course completion certificate prior to being hired
