Overview:
The Associate Product Manager is responsible for supporting the Global Product Manager in overseeing Contec’s Cleanroom portfolio in line with business unit objectives. The Associate Product Manager has a foundational understanding of Cleanroom market needs, collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to position products for success, and implements strategic portfolio changes as needed.
Responsibilities:- Gains an understanding of customers within the Cleanroom market and how their needs and preferences shape product development, positioning, and market messaging.
- Gains an understanding of the Cleanroom product portfolio and helps to identify opportunities for strategic product additions and/or discontinuations.
- Effectively communicates Voice-of-Customer (VOC) to internal stakeholders, including Quality, Research & Development, Marketing, and Operations.
- Supports new product launches by working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborates with Marketing to develop literature and technical documentation for new product launches and existing products.
- Supports the Sales team by providing technical product information and creating Sales tools such as competitive cross-references and SWOT analyses.
- Gains an understanding of the Cleanroom pricing process and implements changes according to business objectives.
- Participates and works within ISO 9001 quality standards guidelines in accordance with Contec’s quality goals.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Develops and displays functional and technical knowledge of Cleanroom market and product portfolio.
- Displays customer focus by learning the unique characteristics of the market and applying knowledge to product and business decisions.

A Bachelor's degree (BA. or BS.) from a four-year accredited college or university and a minimum of 3-5 years of product management or related technical experience is strongly preferred; and/or a combination of education and experience. Previous experience within the Cleanroom or another regulated industry is strongly preferred.
