We are seeking an Associate Product Manager.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:
The Associate Product Manager is passionate about identifying, developing, and delivering commercial snow & ice products that exceed customer expectations and improve our industry. The Associate Product Manager is responsible for assisting the Product Manager with product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, establishing product pricing, and working closely with product management, engineering, sales, and manufacturing to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. By developing positive, supportive, and collaborative relationships throughout the organization, the Associate Product Manager is an influential, motivational, strategic leader who ensures the product supports the company's overall strategic and financial goals.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
- Act as a strategic leader within the company.
- Define short-term and long-term product portfolio strategies and roadmaps.
- Manage product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
- Specify market requirements for current and future products conducting market research supported by competitive benchmarking, voice of customer/dealer (VoC, VoD) initiatives, and ongoing customer/dealer visits.
- Ensure product offerings maintain a leading edge in the industry.
- Ensure product offerings have competitive advantages and serve marketplace needs.
- Drive product development by defining feature requirements based on market needs and product and corporate strategies.
- Develop and maintain accurate and strategically supported product pricing and positioning strategies and programs.
- Obtain, analyze, and communicate information relevant to the snow & ice market and competitors to assist in accurate and confident identification of market & product opportunities, pricing strategies, growth strategies, and market development metrics.
- Act as a product advocate to internal and external stakeholders to build awareness and understanding through the development and execution of training materials & programs.
- Create deliverables and support cross-functional activities associated with all new product development (concept through commercial launch).
- Support the Advertising team in developing sales and marketing strategies, advertising copy/collateral, marketing campaigns, tradeshows, and other promotional activities.
- Create and implement Product Management best practices to improve ROI, drive innovation, and achieve growth.
- Manage the growth, development, and marketing strategies for Parts & Accessories (P&A).
- Lead responsibility in accumulating data for whole goods and P&A sales forecasts.
- Coordinate the accumulation and presentation of customer/dealer satisfaction data & indices to the organization.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts.
- Follow Company policies and procedures regarding work and conduct.
WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:
Education/Experience: BA in Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration; Master’s Degree Preferred.
Experience and/or Training: 2-5 years traditional multi-functional marketing, product management experience. Manufacturing/OEM experience desired.
Licenses/Certificates: Driver’s license required.
Technology/Equipment: Basic understanding of structural, electrical, and hydraulic language and terminology to work closely with engineering and effectively communicate product features, advantages, and benefits to sales organization, advertising, and prospective customers. Working knowledge of Windows-based programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and statistical analysis packages.
